Two weekends ago, Brian's parents came for a visit. It rained all day that Saturday, Ethan's soccer games were canceled, and so the "boys" had fun racing inside. (see video) Emma was a great cheerleader. Kathy, Emma and I went on an adventure to find an Amish country store we had heard about. Driving in the pouring rain out in the middle of nowhere, coming across no one but a group of questionable, maybe gun-totting, men training their hounddogs to hunt for the racoon tethered up in the tree, we finally made it to our destination (mapquest came wrong directions!) after an hour and a half. But we didn't mind. It was a nice country drive and Emma was excited about all the cows we saw. We had a fun visit and it even stopped raining long enough in the evening to bbq some ribs outside. Thanks, Kathy! Yum, yum.
