Progress

Emma has finally turned a corner when it comes to potty training. She has been doing better and better every day for about two weeks now. Today she has gone to the restroom all by herself and kept herself clean and dry with no mistakes.

It is quite interesting on how she was finally enticed to do it. A couple of weeks ago, Wendy decided to use sibling rivalry and Emma's candy addiction. She put Emma in panties and said no more pullups. Gave her a starburst. She told her if you go on the potty you will get another starburst. Emma didn't last long and went down her leg. Wendy said, "Ok, Ethan gets your piece of candy this time" The rest is history. She can't stand Ethan getting her Candy. We debated using that method due to obvious reasons, but it sure did work in this case.

Ethan is also progressing. In the past week or so he has been more willing to read books instead of playing with tPublish Postoys all the time. Dont get me wrong there are still a lot of nerf bullets flying around, but he is reading to himself now and is enjoying it. He was doing decent really well according to the teacher when school ended but he still wanted us to read to him.
