Obviously, I haven't posted anything for a month. Life gets busy. We've kept ourselves very busy so far this summer. Ethan goes to summer school for a half a day all this month. He has also started summer t-ball and has games twice a week. I love watching the little kids play, they look so cute out there. It reminded me of going to watch Dallin play t-ball 10 years ago. (it's just the kids that get older, right? not us adults? please agree with me!)
Emma and I continue to have some great mommy/daughter time while Ethan is gone. We've been going out walking for an hour each morning after putting Ethan on the bus, and Emma just talks a mile a minute to me. It's fun to listen to her jabber and talk to everything we pass - trees, flowers, cows, people, etc. We've also had some fun cooking together. Emma has really showed interest lately in helping me in the kitchen. Her favorite phrase that she repeats several times while cooking with me has been "what's next, mommy?".
I am continually kept busy by my calling. This week is girls camp, so I'll be coming and going from that a few times this week. I'm not able to stay the whole time, so I'm trying to get up there when I can. Fortunately, it's only about 45 minutes away.
Brian continues to work hard for our family and is ready for a vacation! We are looking forward to the few little trips we have planned this summer.
